The Village Hotel, Cardiff 17th & 18th March 2010 Delivered by the Wales Centre of Excellence for Anaerobic Digestion and WRAP
The course took a detailed and interactive approach to help delegates gain a greater understanding of the essential requirements for successful and efficient anaerobic digestion operations. Topics discussed included planning, technology selection, funding and contract development, the anaerobic digestion process, quality control and standards, PAS 110 and the AD quality Protocol, and biogas/ digestate utilisation.
The course was attended by over 20 delegates who also had the opportunity to visit the analytical and piloting laboratories at the University of Glamorgan where they could gain experience of some of the analytical techniques required to monitor anaerobic reactors and characterise feedstocks.
